Ayup! Clients here at Leaflet Lion often want to cover the posh and affluent areas of Nottingham. But what are they? If this applies to you, or you’re new to the area, we’ve got your back. Here’s a handy list of the wealthiest suburbs and villages in and around Nottingham.

As illustrated by the above map, the Nottingham border is about as peculiar as it gets. Poor old Arnold and Carlton don’t get a look in, nor does, West Bridgford, apparently. And as for Clifton, well, half in, half out, why not? (update; Clifton appears to be an error on Google Maps, as it should all be included. Cross-referenced with this outline from Nottingham City Council).
Posh and affluent areas of Nottingham
For the first list, let’s take a look at some of the most affluent areas within the Nottingham border.
- The Park
- Sherwood
- Mapperley Park
- Wollaton
Like any town or city in the UK, there are parts of Nottingham that are considered more desirable than others.
Whether based on house prices, local amenities or the quality of nearby schools, these areas or often reserved for those with a few quid.
The ‘poshest’ parts of a particular town or city is clearly a subjective topic, meaning there are no right or wrong answers.
Posh and affluent areas near Nottingham
Most people (including me) would count some of these areas as being in Nottingham itself. As they’re outside of the official city border, I’ve popped them into a separate list:
- West Bridgford
- Lady Bay
- Edwalton
- Ruddington
- Keyworth
- Bramcote
- Parts of Beeston (Beeston Fields Drive, etc.)
- Lambley
- Lowdham
- Burton Joyce
- Gunthorpe
- Radcliffe on Trent
The above list could go on for a lot longer. Most of the surrounding villages would also be considered affluent areas. If you need any help planning out the areas for your next distribution campaign, feel free to drop us an email.
Nottingham’s top-performing areas remain some of the most desirable places to live, thanks to their fantastic amenities, excellent schools, and great commuter links
