Leaflet Distribution Areas – Derby, Derbyshire and Burton-on-Trent
The Leaflet Lion team cover Derby, Burton-on-Trent and the surrounding areas. We generally distribute to any residential area with a minimum of 1000 properties within a 30-minute drive of central Derby.
A few of the most popular locations we work in are Allestree, Mickleover, Littleover, Oakwood, Chester Green and Darley Abbey.
Additionally, we cover Swadlincote, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Uttoxeter and all of Burton-on-Trent areas, including Branston, Rolleston-on-Dove, Stapenhill and Tutbury.

One to Four Weeks
Our standard turnaround time on the solus+1 Specified Areas plan is two weeks. However, this can vary depending on the total number of properties.
Furthermore, the lower-priced Solus+1 Flexible Areas plan has a four-week turnaround, and the Solus plans are put on an express/1-week turnaround. Again, this depends on the total number of your campaign.
In a rush? If we can fit you in, we also offer quicker turnarounds at an additional cost.

Absolutely. Currently, around 75% of our clients also print with us. It’s often quicker, easier and also more cost-effective to purchase print alongside your distribution job.
We offer a wide range of paper stocks and finishes. However, the most popular is the trusty 170gsm silk. This is a budget-friendly paper stock with enough sturdiness to make its way through most letterboxes without getting crumpled.
If the budget allows, 250gsm gives you the extra luxury of a thicker stock for a premium look and feel.

Precise local data to identify the number of properties in specific areas of Derby, Derbyshire and Burton-on-Trent.
We work with a border-radius rather than using postcodes. If you want to target your business location postcode, we can map out an area around it based on the number of properties you want to cover.
Choose from our pre-mapped areas of Derby and Burton, or if you have something a little more specific in mind, we’ll create a fully custom map based on your requirements.
This will then identify the number of properties and, therefore, the number of flyers that would need printing and distributing to cover the area.
We work in thousands; therefore, each area is rounded up or down to the nearest thousand. Here’s an example of our Allestree area map in Derby containing 6000 properties.
Payment is required before printing and/or your leaflet distribution job starts.
This is a standard payment term with any distribution business in the UK, including Royal Mail.
Invoicing is handled by our provider, Stripe, and payments are by card. Alternatively, if you prefer to pay by bank transfer, we’ll gladly arrange this for you.
Additionally, if needed, larger drops can be broken down into smaller jobs and paid for as they’re due to be delivered.
Our primary focus is the response rate of your campaign. For this reason, big shared deliveries where important marketing materials are usually hidden inside a pizza menu are unavailable.
Leaflet Distribution Plans:
Solus+1 (your flyer delivered with a maximum of one other, non-competing leaflet). This is the most popular option here in Nottingham and Mansfield. It keeps your costs down without drastically affecting your response rates.
Solus (your flyer delivered on its own). This is the most expensive option. If you require the full limelight, a solus plan is ultimately how you’ll gain the most visibility.

As you can imagine, this never ends well.
The delivery team track every route as they complete your area. As soon as we’ve completed your job, we’ll email over the GPS tracking maps in a shared folder.
You can view and also download them, as well as refer back to the folder at any time within the next six months.
